A legal dispute between Circle K and a former manager over a $12.8 million winning lottery ticket has become even more complicated after a second convenience store employee came forward claiming a share of the jackpot.

The issue began in November of last year when a customer visited a Circle K store in South Carolina and handed over a winning lottery ticket to the store manager, who then allegedly claimed the prize as his own.

Now, a second employee from the same store has joined the legal battle, asserting that they are entitled to a portion of the jackpot due to an agreement among the staff to share winnings.

The case is ongoing, with both employees seeking their share of the $12.8 million prize from the South Carolina Education Lottery Commission.
