Chinese embassies have warned overseas tourists to stay away from illegal betting dens after Israeli and Thai police raided dens that allegedly catered to Chinese speakers.

Police conducted a raid at a Tel Aviv residence on June 4, leading to the arrest of eight Chinese nationals, as reported by the Jerusalem Post. Authorities seized more than $341,000 in cash, a Glock handgun, and other items during the operation.

The embassies' warning comes in response to the crackdown on illegal gambling activities that targeted Chinese nationals in Israel and Thailand, highlighting the risks associated with engaging in such illicit operations abroad.
