Kalshi’s legal team continues to have a heavy workload as the prediction market’s proceedings expand with new lawsuits in New Mexico and Kentucky.
Last week, a consortium of federally recognized tribes in New Mexico filed a lawsuit against Kalshi, alleging the prediction market violates the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) by offering sports event contracts. The legal challenges have prompted Kalshi to fight back, with the company appealing to Washington to address the allegations and defend its operations.
