The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) has fined MGM Springfield $25,000 for accepting bets on a Northeastern University college baseball game held in April 2025. This action was taken after the sportsbook at MGM Springfield allowed and processed wagers on the mentioned game. The MGC has also imposed fines on two other gambling companies in the local market for separate violations.
