Polymarket took another hit in Michigan on Wednesday as a federal judge denied the prediction market platform’s motion for a preliminary injunction against state officials.
In an order published on June 17, Judge Paul Maloney of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan determined that Polymarket failed to prove it would suffer any irreparable harm without the injunction. The denial means that Polymarket will not be able to operate in Michigan until the lawsuit is fully resolved.
