Rio Las Vegas has removed its $50 resort fee for all group business bookings, a move the off-Strip hotel-casino says is aimed at attracting more meetings, conventions and organized events.
The policy change at Rio Las Vegas eliminates the $50 resort fee for group business bookings, with the new rule applying to bookings in any year and having no set expiration date. While the 2,520-room property will no longer charge this fee to business groups, leisure travelers will still be subject to the additional charge.
