Washington Attorney General Nick Brown has initiated legal action by filing a lawsuit to close down 16 casino-style mobile apps run by Playtika, Aristocrat, and related firms. The lawsuit aims to reclaim over $225 million that Washington residents have expended on virtual coins, chips, and credits from 2020 onwards. It is alleged that more than 150,000 residents of Washington utilize these apps on a monthly basis.
